Columbus/Madison – Evelyn B. (Feldman) Fansel, age 80, of Madison passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1931, in Friendship, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Edward and Sarah Feldman. She married Arthur (Rudy) Fansel on August 13, 1955. They lived at Columbus where they farmed and raised a family until 1980 when they moved to Madison. After moving to Madison, she went to work for WPS and retired after 22 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur (Rudy) in March of 1999, her parents, a brother and sister. She is survived by a daughter, Norma Priestley of Madison, WI, a son, Randy Fansel of Salinas, CA, a grandson, Adam Priestley of Cary, NC, a brother Garth Feldman of Friendship, WI. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 1:30 at Jensen Funeral Home in Columbus, WI. Rev. John Stake officiated. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus, WI. Visitation was on Saturday from 12:30 until time of service at Jensen Funeral and Cremation in Columbus, WI
