Adrian Lee Shaw passed away at his home in Pompano Beach, FL, on September 14, 2024 at age 77.
Adrian was born on January 22, 1947, in Mauston, WI, to Harry and Elinor Shaw. He spent his early years in Wisconsin Dells before moving to Watertown and then Columbus when he was in 6th grade. In school he began a lifelong love of sports, playing football, basketball and baseball before graduating from CHS in 1965.
Adrian attended UW Oshkosh, graduating with a Bachelor's degree and went on to get his CPA. Throughout the years he worked at both small and large firms and eventually with his own personal clients. He loved his work and continued working part time until his death.
Adrian married Michelle Reynolds and had 2 children, Nikki and Chris. Adrian and Michelle had been friends since seventh grade, and although the marriage didn't last, they remained friends until he died.
In his thirties Adrian met and married Nancy Woppert. They enjoyed living in Milwaukee, Houston, Dallas, and New Jersey during their 20 year marriage. After Nancy's death, he moved to southern Florida where he enjoyed golfing, reading, and watching any kind of sport.
He is survived by his children Nicole Shaw and Christopher Shaw, both of Columbus, and his loving brothers Lynn (Judy) Shaw of Apple Valley, MN, and Roger (Cindy) Shaw of Manitowish Waters, WI. Adrian was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Elinor Shaw of Columbus, and his wife Nancy Shaw of Milwaukee.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Jensen Funeral & Cremation in Columbus, WI. Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
