FALL RIVER--Beverly A. "Bev" Liebenthal age 80, died on Friday, August 5, 2016. She was born on July 9, 1936 in Wautoma to Fred and Viola Cox. She was a 1954 graduate of the Columbus High School. Bev was married to Loren Lienbenthal on June 15, 1957 in Columbus. She graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. Degree in Education in 1959. She received her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 1971. Bev began her teaching career in Randolph and later with the Fall River School District where she taught English, Speech and was Librarian, retiring in 1998. Besides her teaching career, she also was a licensed realtor selling homes for Starritt Realty and later for Re/Max. Bev was an active member of the Fall River United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She loved spending time with friends and family, especially watching her grandsons play sports and having tea parties with her only granddaughter. She also loved to travel, enjoyed debating politics and watching the Packers. Her great sense of humor and quick wit will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her three sons Russell (Linda), John and David (Amy) all of Fall River; five grandchildren Adam (Laura), Brian (fiancee Julia Steiner), Blane (Lori Pahl), Tanner and Lydia; two great grandchildren Jude and Vincent; two sisters Nancy (Ole) Karbo of Pardeeville and Virginia (Red) Dahl of Delavan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1999; a brother Fred Cox; three sisters Mertice Hunt, Jean Bingham and Laura Klahn and infant sister Kathleen. Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M., on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at FALL RIVER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Fall River. Interment was in the Fall River Cemetery, Fall River.
