WATERTOWN—Billy Ray Greenwood, age 62 passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the UW Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 18, 1957 to Jesse and Bessie Greenwood Sr. in Memphis TN. Billy loved to go fishing, camping and enjoyed cooking and grilling. He enjoyed doing his yard work and gardening tomatoes, peppers and flowers. Billy enjoyed watching old western movies, reading cowboy books and country music. He loved taking long "field road trips" with his kids. Most of all Billy loved playing with his grandbabies. He is survived by his former wife Jean; one son, Justin Nelson of Watertown; three daughters, Tosha Perzkraut of Fond Du Lac, Canji Huebner of Watertown and Mallissa Nelson-Greenwood of Beaver Dam; seven grandsons and six granddaughters; three sisters Sue (Jerry) Clement of Horn Lake MS, Liz Clark of Quakertown PA and Bonnie Simmons of Jefferson City TN; a brother Eugene (Sharon) Greenwood of Kingsport TN. He was preceded in death by his parents JT and Bessie granddaughter Breyanna Kalk and two brothers Roy Greenwood and Jesse Greenwood Jr. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday January 26, 2020 at the COLUMBUS COMMUNITY CENTER in Columbus.
