CAMBRIA--Brenda J. Schultz age 65, died on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on October 13, 1953 in Boscobel to James "Jake" and Geraldine "Gerry" (Johnston) Welch. Brenda graduated from the Columbus High School. She was married to Vernon Schultz at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus. Brenda worked for many years at American Family Insurance in Madison until 2017. She enjoyed traveling, horseback riding, gaming, attending festivals and many other outdoor activities. She loved spending her time with family, close friends and especially her precious grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Vern of Cambria; two sons Tim (Sheree) and Edward (fiancee' Debra) both of Columbus; five grandchildren Alannis, Sebastian, Gwinneveve, Gideon, and Jasper; a brother Shawn (Pam) Welch of Green Bay; a sister Danielle (Kevin) Nelson of Montello; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Dennis "Strawberry" Welch and sister Jacqueline "Jackie" Braatz. Visitation was from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 with a family service following at the Jensen funeral home in Columbus. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus.
