Carol J. Greiner age 58, died on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her home. She was born on December 26, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur and Norma (Crouse) Greiner. Carol was a 1976 graduate of York High School in Elmhurst IL and attended the College of Du Page before graduating from Western Illinois University. She worked for several department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue. Carol loved life and people, especially those she met during her career as a nursing home activities director. Carol moved to Madison where she worked for A. G. Edwards, M & I Bank and was a merchandiser at the Hilldale Shopping Center. Carol dealt in collecting, selling and researching the history of antiques and was a member of the Wisconsin chapter of the International Questers Organization. Carol was married to James Young on April 13, 2007 in Portage. Survivors include her husband, James Young of Columbus; two brothers, Ronald (Ladona) Greiner of Greer SC and Gary (Pat) Greiner of Superior; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her dear, come along everywhere, four-legged companion Bailey. Visitation was from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at JENSEN FUNERAL & CREMATION, Columbus. Memorials may be directed to the Dodge County Humane Society.
