Catherine M. Ebert age 91, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Columbus Health & Rehab Center in Columbus. Catherine was born to Leo and Florence (Schmitt) Moy on November 2, 1926 in Bristol. She was married to Lenus Ebert on June 25, 1946 in Madison and had three children. Catherine was employed seasonally at the Wisconsin Cheeseman in Sun Prairie, the Stokely Canning Company in Columbus and as a school bus driver for Kurth's bus service. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and tending her vegetable garden. Survivors include two sons Henry (Mildred) Ebert of Fall River, Robert (Dianna) Ebert of Fall River; one daughter Barbara (Roger Winter) Ebert of Columbus; two grandchildren Jessica (Aaron Krueger) Dykstra and Keria Dykstra; four great grandchildren Mason, Paige, Quentin and Sophia; one sister Margaret Blaaska of Sun Prairie; one brother Bernie Moy of Sun Prairie; granddog Mia; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lenus. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, August 10, 2018 at ST. JEROME CATHOLIC CHURCH, Rev. Garrett Kau officiated. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. A special thanks to staff at Columbus Health & Rehab and Hillside Hospice.
