MADISON--Cheri J. Van Allen age 50, died on Monday, October 3, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 11, 1966 to Charles and Jeanne (Fredrick) Van Allen in Grand Rapids, MI. Cheri will be remembered as a free spirit to her family and friends. Survivors include her brother Jeff Van Allen of Fitchburg; nephew Jacob Van Allen of Woodbury, MN; uncle Russell Fredrick of Columbus; cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt Peggy Fredrick. A private graveside service was held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. Rev. Beth Voigt of the Olivet Congregational U.C.C., Columbus officiated.
