Daniel Lyn Bully, age 56, of Columbus, Wisconsin, unexpectedly passed into eternal glory Friday, March 28, 2025. Dan was born on July 10, 1968 to Lyn and Mildred "Millie" (Hanke) Bully in Beaver Dam, WI. Shortly after, he was baptized into the Christian faith at St. John's Lutheran Church in Watertown, WI. He confirmed his faith at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Grove, WI in 1982. Dan attended Dodgeland Schools in Juneau, WI where he graduated in 1986. After high school, Dan completed an apprenticeship with Mallow Construction in Watertown, WI, and became a Journeyman Carpenter. He was currently working as a Senior Superintendent at Ideal Builders, Inc. in Madison, WI. He was a part of the Milwaukee Carpenters Union for over 30 years. Dan married his love Suzanne (Giese) on July 26, 1997 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Grove, WI. God blessed them with over 27 years of marriage.
Dan was absolutely loved by everyone who knew him. He loved helping his family and friends whenever he could. There wasn't anything that he couldn't build, fix or make. Dan was the kindest person and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking hikes with Suzanne and their dogs.
Dan is survived by his wife, Suzanne Bully of Columbus; parents Lyn and Millie Bully; brother Dale (Tara) Bully; sister-in-law Lisa Giese; nephews Owen, Simon and Weston Bully, Jacob Schultz; niece Sami (Dylan) Chellew; great niece Rowynn; his beloved dogs Chief and Odin and many other relatives and friends.
Dan is now walking in the glory of God with his dogs Gunner and Dakota by his side.
A celebration of life will be held at the Lowell Sportsman's Club at a later date.
A special thank you to the paramedics, staff at UW Hospital and his family at Ideal Builders.
