Dean R. Waterworth, age 70, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Monday September 1, 2025 following a three and a half-year battle with cancer. He was born on May 30, 1955 in Madison to Russell and Ramona (Hemerley) Waterworth.  Dean graduated from the UW Madison short course agriculture program.  He was a dairy farmer who loved working the land and later raised beef cattle.  He was married to Annette Field on August 30, 1980 and together raised two daughters. Dean loved feeding his 17 cats and racoons, creating his recycled art, cooking and hanging out with his buddies at the mill. He also enjoyed the comedy of Monty Python and John Belushi. His favorite music was Genesis, Yes, Kansas and Jethro Tull.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Annette of Fall River; two daughters Summer (Robert) Lawrence of Sheboygan Falls and Nahtahna (Kevin) Jensen of Kohler; four grandsons Braylon & Madden Lawrence and Brewer & Winston Jensen; one sister Ann (David) Rake; father-in-law Kenneth Field; brothers-in-law Tim (Karen) Field and Tom Field; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and special friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law Gail Field.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Columbus Country Club, Columbus.
