COLUMBUS—Dianne N. Engman age 81, passed away peacefully with her son Geoffrey by her side in the early morning hours of March 7, 2023. She was born on November 18, 1941 to Dr. Walter and Ruth (Newell) Kehler in Pittsburg, PA. She was married to Norris Engman and together raised two children. Dianne attended nursing school in Miami and during her working years was employed in hospital administration and as a bank teller before retirement.
Dianne liked having car picnics alongside her family parked at scenic parks where she can enjoy nature, watch the animals play and talk about life and pray together. She loved simple things in life along with visits from family, serving home cooked meals as well as knitting and macramé. She had a special love of animals, especially her beloved cats Frisbee and Snuggle Bear.
In 2017 at the age 76 Dianne was fully baptized and became a born again Christian. She was a member of Harvest Church in Columbus and enjoyed praying together and studying Bible scriptures with her family and friends. Many folks will remember her as a very pleasant, loving, caring, warm, open, genuine, kind-hearted, sweet, soft-spoken, gentle and humble person.
