FALL RIVER/COLUMBUS--Donald R. Brunner, age 76, joined his Savior in Heaven on Friday, April 18 ^TH , 2014 at the Rice Lake Convalescent Center where he has been a resident since his surgery in November. Don was born in Milwaukee, WI, to Roger and Lydia (Teuteberg) Brunner on Sept. 21, 1937. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Donna Twigg in Milwaukee, WI on Feb. 14, 1959. They had three sons, Roger (Gloria) of New Auburn, WI; Mark Brunner of Simi Valley, CA; and Tim Brunner of Colorado Springs, CO. Don has seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; his sister, Janet Wanke, and parents. Prior to moving to Rice Lake, Don lived most of his life in the Fall River and Columbus area. For many years he sold Lincoln/Mercury cars in Beaver Dam, WI. He retired from car sales and then sold RV's in Madison for several more years. He enjoyed yard and garden work and fishing. Don was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Fall River and Zion Lutheran in Columbus for many years.

Since Don requested no services, a simple burial will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014, at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI. The family invites friends to an informal gathering at the Casino Super Club in Fall River on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
