Duane P Steinweg, age 74, died on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at the Larson House in Columbus, Wisconsin.

Duane was born on March 3, 1949 to Paul and Ilda (Schaefer) Steinweg in Edgerton, WI. He was united in marriage to Marsha Hartshorn on June 27, 1979 in Madison, WI and together they were blessed to share 44 years together as best friends.  They traveled to many places during that time, including the Colorado Rocky Mountains and Canada, meeting many beautiful people along the way.  Duane worked for a number of years for Sterns Packaging Corporation in Madison and then for Neesvig's in Windsor, WI before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha of Columbus; two sisters, Betty Ann (Roger) Bakken of Brooklyn, Karen Sue Kadis of Wauwatosa; Nieces Linda Wendt of Madison, Diane (Chris) McFarlin of Sun Prairie, Angie (Joel) Spindler of Port Washington and a nephew John (Madonna) Wendt of Cottage Grove.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Carol Mae (Donald) Wendt, brothers in law Harold Wendt, Russell Wendt and a nephew, Christopher Kadis.
