Esther Weckwerth, age 95, passed away on June 25, 2026 at her home in Port Richey, FL.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Esther enjoyed bowling, golf, card games, Yahtzee, reading, and crossword puzzles. Additionally, she was an advanced seamstress who was also skilled at crocheting and knitting. She was an active member of VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge, and always supporting anything Veterans related. After graduating college, she spent her working career in an executive administrative role for an international company.

She is survived by her children John and Patricia; grandchildren Jason, Jarod, Rachael (Mark), and Rebecca; great-grandchildren Roy and Pearson; as well as her loving cat, Missy. Additional relatives include her brother, Lloyd (Gert), nieces, nephews, grand and great-grandnieces/nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband DuWayne, parents Earl and Anna, brother Brym, and sister Maureta.

Graveside service will be held on August 5 at 1 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery in the Town of Elba, WI, Rev. Jim Wendt officiating.
