COLUMBUS—Heather Murphy, age 51, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Meriter Hospital, Madison. She was born on May 3, 1972 to Jim and Gloria (Shaputo) Hudson in Sacramento, CA. Heather was married to Matthew Murphy on November 10, 2015.

Heather worked at Fed Ex from 2009 to 2015, and attended Intercoast College from 2011 to 2013. She enjoyed collecting cows in her free time.

Heather was survived by her husband Matthew Murphy of Columbus; adopted mother Cynthia Mick;  three sons, Wyatt Henry of CA, Matthew Hudson of CA, Jacob Wilson of Columbus; a sister Kim Purcell; 6 sisters Joy Gudi of CA, Rebecca Jones of CA, Cynthia Wilson of NV, Francy Henry of CA, Andrea Mitchell of CA and Shannon Kellogg of CA; other relatives and friends.

Heather was preceded in death by her parents.
