Obituary

COLUMBUS – Our loving, special, funny and amazing Jaeden S. Sutton, age 15, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at home from unknown illness. He was born on September 2, 2002 in Madison to Michael and Tanya (Woznick) Sutton. Jaeden loved all living things from large animals to tiny bugs, including his cats, gecko, and fish. Jaeden wouldn't let anyone hurt the bees or mosquitoes even if you were getting stung or bit and we had to save all bugs! Jaeden enjoyed many things including time spent at Fireman's Park, swimming, camping on Labor Day weekend with family for his birthday. He loved his stuffed animals, having so many and naming them all, with Honie S. Bear his favorite. He was an artist, decorating our home and loved making cards and letters for others, even getting autographs from celebrities. He was known as the Brat King and loved food. He loved all kinds of music, with Alice Cooper, Bruno Mars, and James Durbin and many others as favorites. He wanted to be a superhero and loved all of them, especially Batman and Harley Quinn. He loved going to the comic book store. His favorite holiday was Halloween and then Christmas, but he loved all holidays where he could see his family. He had a passion for learning, asking unending questions about Everything, saying "Wait! One more thing!" He loved history and writing stories about it and Google was his favorite website for research and pictures. He loved joking and being silly, especially with gross words. He loved hiding and scaring people. He always said he hated having autism but his mind was so very special. Survivors include his parents of Columbus; two brothers Joseph (Emily Seidlinger) Sutton of Sun Prairie and Jarrett Sutton of Columbus; maternal grandparents Cheryl (Dean) Larson of Madison and Frank Woznick of Colorado; great grandfather Earl Meyer of Cascade; paternal grandparents Steve and Dorothy Sutton of Reedsburg, great grandmother Joann Sutton of Deforest and great grandmother Doris Robertson of Boscobel; uncles Brian Sutton and Frank Woznick Jr. and aunt Jackie Forrest; godfather Michael Meyer; godmother Heather Paulus; and so many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his cousin Treston, great-Grumpa Hugh, great-grandma Ada, and other extended family members along with his beloved dog Dezi and cat Ada. We would especially love to thank the countless people who have been part of Jaeden's short life. Dr. Witkovsky who has helped Jaeden along a hard road and was known as "the fart doctor," Dr. Kleist and Kim Squires who really understood him and took the time, Trevor at Columbus Hospital, therapists Matt and Andy, the staff at Gennessee Lake school, his bus driver Jeff, Tania Black, and especially SW Angela, Rachal, Shannon and Haley who were there through thick and thin with him and cared so much no matter what, along with his other caregivers over the last 6 years. A Memorial Service was held at 12:00 P.M., and visitation began at 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Columbus Fireman's Park Pavilion in Columbus. Pastor Kimberly Brumm officiated. Memorials may be made to the American Family Children's Hospital who has done an amazing job with Jaeden over the years. Buddy, you taught us more than you will ever know and our hearts will be forever missing a piece with you gone. No more morning dance parties, no more Rock, Paper, Scissor wars to get us going for our day. You were the best we could ask for in learning how to love unconditionally. Love you bunches!
