James L. Wargula, age 76, died at his home in Columbus on Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was born on January 13, 1948 to Lucian and Brigitte (Priestley) Wargula in Oshkosh, WI.

He attended Lourdes Academy High School in Oshkosh, graduating in 1966.

He attended the University of Wisconsin – Stout, receiving his degree in 1971.

The majority of his career he worked for Madison Gas & Electric, retiring in 2014.

James is survived by Cindy L. Wargula; children Matthew (Alanna) Wargula and Lucia (Jeremy) Eckes; grandchildren Rosalind, Walter, and Clara.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Patricia.
