Jesse R. Meier age 40, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at home of an apparent heart attack. He was born on January 30, 1976 in Fort Atkinson to Lawrence and Sharen (Meylor) Meier. He graduated from Lake Mills High School and attended college. Jesse worked in the construction trade and enjoyed snowmobiling and fishing. He was married to who he thought was the most beautiful woman in the world Chastity Marks on October 10, 2015 in Blue Mounds. Survivors include his wife of Columbus; step-son Justin Johnson of Rio and step-daughter Amber Johnson of Columbus; his father Larry Meier of Blue Mounds; his mother Sharen of Columbus; a son Bryce Meier of Marshall; sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and his dog, Harlem. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Visitation was from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., with a service at 6:00 P.M., on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment was 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in the West Blue Mounds Lutheran Cemetery, Blue Mounds.
