Joan Marie (Schultz) Vieaux, age 90, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Randolph Health Services in Randolph. Joan was born June 3, 1935 to Otto and Sarah (Powers) Schultz in Beaver Dam, WI. She was a 1954 graduate of Columbus High School where she was a proud drum Majorette. She was married to her first husband Dwain Schultz in 1954; their marriage was blessed with two daughters. Her and her husband owned and operated a store in Fox Lake, WI. She also worked at the Wisconsin Cheeseman for 12 years. Joan set the bar for adventure and fun in her family that we could only dream to attain. Dwain preceded her in death on September 3, 1996. She was married to her second husband Jack Vieaux on October 18, 2003 who preceded her in death on April 5, 2007.

Joan was survived by her children Julie (Todd) Hornbacher of Columbus; Theresa (Todd Dickhut) Winter of Cambria; six grandchildren Nicholas (Katie) Schultz, Kelsey (Terrence) Winter-Lange, Nicole (Kyle Fisher) Winter, Savannah (Erick) Olsen, Noah (Pri) Hornbacher, Mckenzie (Josh) Haima; special step grandchildren Dylan and Dakota Dickhut, Hallie and Dalton Martinez along seven great grandchildren Jordy, Bentlee, Jaxson, Hudson, Waylon, Bjorn, Skadi, with baby Scarlette on the way; other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 11, 2025 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Columbus.
