John S. "Jack" Evers age 87 died on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Prairie Ridge Health in Columbus. He was born on August 18, 1938 in Cambria, the son of John and Minnie (Buwalda) Evers. He was married to Jane Novenskie, together raising three children. Jack was employed at WE Energies until retirement. Survivors include his wife Jane; his son Rick (Diane) Evers; son-in-law Ted Stradinger; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Lee and his daughter Robin; three brothers and six sisters. A private family service will be held. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church building fund in Jack's memory.
