WATERLOO/COLUMBUS—John A. Schiller age 68, died on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Columbus Community Hospital. He was born on November 17, 1943 in Columbus to Clarence and Viola (Anhauser) Schiller. John was a 1962 graduate of the Columbus High School. He was employed seasonally at Stokely's Canning Co. in Columbus and the Wisconsin Cheeseman in Sun Prairie. He also worked for Van Holton's in Waterloo and for the Dodge County Park System. John was an animal lover, often feeding critters by hand. He enjoyed fishing and traveling to northern Wisconsin and Michigan. Survivors include his sister, Barbara (Daniel) Spring of Waterloo; two nieces, Roseann (Daniel) Baerwolf and Ann Heiman; one nephew, Bill Heiman; two great nephews, Ryan and Cameron; one great niece, Casondra: two cousins, Carolyn Rennhack and Bette Crum.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one cousin, Winifred Latta. A graveside service was held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the OKEEG CEMETERY, Danville.
