Judith D. "Judie" (Cass) Lueck age 72, passed away surrounded by her children on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. She was born on March 31, 1944 in Columbus to Charles and Elaine (Schreiber) Cass. Judie married the love of her life Gary Lueck Sr. on February 4, 1971 in South Dakota. She raised and kept her children in line while helping Gary operate their over-the-road trucking business. She was employed seasonally at the Wisconsin Cheeseman in Sun Prairie. She moved to Franklin after Gary's death to be closer for tea parties with Sydney. Judie enjoyed playing cards, Wii golf and bowling, and keeping in touch with longtime old friends and new friends at Brenwood Park. Survivors include three daughters Michele (Tom) Weisensel of Columbus, Jennifer (Mike) Kluetzman of Waterford; Miah (Robert) Gaudet of Winston-Salem NC; four sons Curtis and Stephen both of Columbus; Gary Jr. and Martin both of Minneapolis; grandchildren Hunter, Chase, Mara, Shelby, Jake, Matthew, Kayla, Paige, Dagen and Anthony; one great granddaughter Sydney; a brother Donald Cass of Juneau; sister-in-law Yvonne Cass of Columbus; nephews, Joe, Derek, Nickolas and niece Natalie; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2010; brothers Curtis and Jon; sister Julie; a niece Rhonda Cass. Funeral services were held at 5:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 3:00 P.M., on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Robert Moberg officiated. Interment was in the Fall River Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
