Laurie Baerwolf passed away September 27th peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle from liver failure. She was born on February 22, 1961 in Racine WI to Harland and Nancy Meseberg. Laurie worked at the Columbus Nursing Home for 22 years and the Waterloo Vet clinic 8 years.

Laurie had a special way of making everyone she ever met feel loved and like family. Her positive outlook on life touched and inspired so many.

Her family was so precious and she loved them all beyond words. She loved her weekends with her girls no matter what they did. She loved going to cookouts where her son did the cooking. She was married to her love Donnie for 45 years and they had many adventures together. Her grandkids were her pride and joy. She loved them all so much.

Her life was dedicated to helping everyone and anyone she could. She raised tens of thousands of dollars for Multiple Sclerosis Society and so many others.

Laurie loved being outside and raising her monarch butterflies which she named everyone and released on all her beautiful flowers.

She will be missed so very much.

Laurie is survived by her husband Donnie Baerwolf; Daughter Becky (Jason) Priem, son Danny (DeAnna) Baerwolf, daughter Liz Baerwolf;

grandkids Alannis Schultz, Peyton and Logan Priem, Casondra, Cameron Xander Baerwolf, Destiny Wunderlin and Jameson Margelofsky;

brother Tony Meseberg; sister Leann Setz; many very special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws and friends.

Laurie is preceded in death by her Mother Nancy, Father Harland (Boots); brothers Ted and Amos; sister-in-law Connie and so many more.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Jensen Funeral & Cremation. Afterwards join the family at the Columbus Country Club starting at 4:00 P.M..
