Lee V. Evers age 48, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2014 at Meriter Hospital in Madison due to an existing health condition. He was born on February 20, 1968 in Beaver Dam to John and Jane (Novenskie) Evers. Lee was a 1986 graduate of the Columbus High School. He earned a marketing degree from MATC in Madison. Lee was employed for Wisconsin Bell which became SBC and later AT&T in Madison and Milwaukee. He was currently a telecommunications coordinator for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. He was married to Kristine Obermeyer-Kohl on May 11, 2013 in Columbus. Lee, also known as "Baby Bull", was an avid golfer and served on the Columbus Country Club board of directors. He was a long time bowler and coached youth bowling for over 25 years. Lee was an avid Packer, Brewer and Badger fan. He was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Kris of Columbus; two children, Austin Evers of Waterloo, Sierra Evers of Columbus, three step children, Whitney Kohl of Columbus, Zachary Kohl (Amy Nelson) of Madison and Krystal Kohl of Columbus; a brother Rick (Diane) of Cincinnati OH; a sister Robin (Ted) Stradinger of Whitewater; former wife Dawn (Erick) Flink of Waterloo; three nieces, one nephew; one great nephew and two great nieces; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and step-son Dakota Owen Kohl. A memorial service was held at 12:30 P.M., with visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M., on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at ZION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Robert Wilke officiated.
