Linda G. "Lynn" Legnar age 60 passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 4, 2014 of unknown causes. Lynn was born on July 20, 1953 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Paul and Johanna (Gesvain) Rick. She was married to David Anderson Sr. and enjoyed 12 years together until his death at age 32. Lynn was married to James Legnar on May 29, 1993 in Reeseville. She enjoyed her work as a caregiver to the elderly until 2011, when she endured another bout with cancer. For Lynn, cancer was her biggest frustration, which she battled most of her adult life. Lynn loved the outdoors, especially swimming. She also enjoyed socializing, whether it was at the local pub, or her backyard fire pit with friends, family and neighbors. Survivors include her husband, Jim of Columbus; her son, David (Julie) Anderson Jr. of Reeseville; many grandchildren, with Megan Anderson being her "little rock" as she would always say; three sisters, Martha (Butch) Klug of Rubicon, Renee Rick of East Troy, Heidi (Mike) Milakovich; one brother, Paul (Connie) Rick of Brownsville; four step-children, Connie (Jeff) Borkenhagen of Baraboo, Sheila Janney of Union Center, Kevin Legnar and Justin Legnar both of Baraboo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her favorite "Uncle George". She was godmother to Tambra Hammond. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Anderson Sr.; a sister, Barbara Geszvain; a brother, Larry Geszvain; brother-in-law, Wayne Drews; nephew, Mark Drews, niece, Debra Linke; great nephew, Nathan Holahan; step-daughter, Jessica Greenwood; former mother-in-law, Gloria Benke. I love you mom, from the Anderson family. Funeral services were held at 5:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 4:00 P.M., on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Jensen funeral home in Columbus. The Rev. Steve Kortendick officiated.
