Lisa Lee Slusher, age 64, passed on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at her home in Fall River, WI after an extensive battle with cancer. She was born on December 16, 1961 to August and Sandra (Ramer) Bahr in Waukesha, WI.

Growing up Lisa loved the family trips to Wyoming, visiting her aunt and uncle. These memories she relived time and time again while sharing the stories with her children and grandchildren.

Lisa and her siblings were fortunate enough to have grown up down the road from the Mielke family: long-time family friends. She fondly enjoyed spending time up north on their land and later camping there with her children.

Lisa graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1980. After high school Lisa had many fond memories of working at Nino's where she met the father of her children, Robert. The two briefly lived in Richmond, VA where she ran her own at home daycare.

The two then returned to Wisconsin and settled in Fall River where she would raise her greatest achievements, her four children. In order to support her family Lisa started her "temporary" job at Walmart which lasted 35 years.

Lisa was a loving, caring, generous, compassionate, artistic, strong-willed, and an amazing storyteller. These traits were clearly and proudly displayed to her children and everyone else around. She loved making sure everyone was fed at swim meets, spending time with family, baking and decorating unique cakes for the kids' birthdays. Her home became the preferred place for all the kids from the neighborhood to hang out. She always did her absolute best to be at all of the kid's important events.

In short, Lisa always gave everything she had to be the best mother possible. As her family grew, she continued to show that same love and compassion for her grandchildren

Lisa is survived by her mother Sandra Bahr of Sussex; four children Samantha Slusher of Fall River, Carrie (Brandon Columbus) Slusher of Waterloo,  Nick (Bronwyn Schwoerer) Slusher of Columbus, Chris Slusher of Fall River; six grandchildren Jerade, Bradley, Lydia, Sean, Morgan, Victoria; two sisters Thersa (John Covert) Bahr of Pewaukee, Denise Bahr of Eagle River, her brother Eric Bahr of Lannon; other relatives and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father August Bahr.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday March 7th at The Venue at River's Edge in Waterloo, WI.
