SUSSEX WI/ VIRGINIA BEACH VA—Lois B. Nemitz age 90, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Virginia Beach, VA. She was born February 3, 1924 in Columbus to Carl and Mary (Krull) Wake. Lois was a graduate of the Columbus High School. She was married to James C. Nemitz. Survivors include a brother, Carlyle (Mary) Wake of Sun Prairie; son, Tony (Mary Ann) of Houston TX; four daughters, Cozette (Randy) Zander of Hampton VA, Nina (Jim) Equitz of Slinger, Cindy Nemitz of Muncie IN, Nancy (Dennis) Van Kylen of Virginia Beach VA; a large number of wonderful grandchildren (spouses), beloved great grandchildren (spouses) and several great great-grandchildren; the Nemitz relations plus other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Jimmy and daughter Faye; two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the funeral home. Rev. Steve Kortendick officiated. Interment was in St. James Catholic Cemetery, Menomonee Falls. Visitation wilwas from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 7th at the funeral home.
