COLUMBUS—Lucille M. Lischka, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Randolph Health Services in Randolph. She was born on September 25, 1930 to Otto and Elsie (Lenz) Griese in Columbus. Lucille was married to Philip Lischka on May 25, 1950 in Columbus and together had three children. Lucille was a very crafty woman who loved to crochet, knit and more recently, created pheasant feather hats. She was leader for Lutheran Pioneers and a former housemother for Martin Luther Preparatory School in Prairie du Chien. Later in life, she became a caregiver for many people. Lucille loved her grandchildren and never missed taking them out on their birthdays. Survivors include her three children Rick (Lois) Lischka of Columbus, Kristi (Ray) Burke of Lackawanna NY, Lynn (Clay) Beal of Otsego; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one brother Don (Gerry) Griese of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Philip in 1980. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers Association.
