Marjorie B. Reuter, age 89, died on Monday, January 6, 2025 at the Larson House in Columbus, WI. She was born on April 4, 1935 to Clayton and Alice (McNally) York in Elkhorn, WI. She was married to Roland Reuter in Walworth and together raised five children. Marjorie was a special needs aid for the Columbus and Marshall school districts for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Marjorie was an avid reader, especially of Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes and stories of the western frontier. She loved dogs, sometimes taking in strays. Marjorie was known to knit many Afghans, for the V.A.  She also knitted blankets, hats and mittens which were donated to Columbus children's daycare.

Marjorie was survived by her children Betsy (George) Gorham of Portage, Deanne Reuter of Cambridge, John (Bill Milbrot) Reuter of Columbus, Major David Reuter of AZ; grandchildren Benjamin (Sarah) Reuter, Matthew Reuter, Ian (fiancée Hannah Rennock) Werner; three great grandchildren Bryan, Jordan, Taylor; sister Dorothy Burwell of Fenton, MI; Robert York of Walworth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roland (Dunk), infant daughter Catherine (Katy), son Russell; two sisters Lucille Reuter, Eleanor McCloud; sister-in-law Dottie York, brother-in-law Wayne Reuter, and brother-in-law Gordon Burwell.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Jensen Funeral & Cremation LLC, Columbus. Rev. Chris Baker will officiate. Interment will be at Okeeg Cemetery.
