Mary Alice (Webb) Schilling, age 88, of Columbus, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 at Prairie Ridge Hospital in Columbus, surrounded by family.

Mary was born in Fond du Lac to Alice Marie (Smith) Webb and Joseph Harold Webb on May 3rd, 1937. She was the youngest of three siblings. Mary grew up in Fond du Lac and went to grade school at St. Joseph's Catholic School and St. Mary's Springs High School. After high school, Mary went to cosmetology school in Milwaukee and later worked at A.C. Nielson in Fond du Lac doing administrative work. On June 6th, 1959 Mary was united in marriage to Daniel Schilling at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac and was blessed with six children and enjoyed 66 years of marriage together. In addition to taking care of six children, Mary studied to be a CNA and worked at Columbus Nursing Home. She later worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Beaver Dam Hospital Daycare and Kid's Care in Columbus. Mary enjoyed reading mysteries, tending to her flower gardens and spending time with family and friends. Mary was a lifelong resident of Columbus, and member of St. Jerome's Parish. Family and Faith were the most important part of Mary's life.

Mary is survived by her husband Dan; five children Ann (Bruce) Gehrke, Kay Schilling, David Schilling, Mark Schilling, Patty (Heimo) Woehrer; ten grandchildren, Bobbi Smith, Kari Gehrke, Jared (Lindsay) Smith, Kim (Steve) Grebel, Kameron Smith, Megan Savage, James (Kaylah) Savage, Megan Woehrer, Ian Schilling and Adam Woehrer, and six great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Thomas and Jack Webb; son, Jeff; granddaughter, Amanda Gehrke.

The visitation for Mary will take place on Thursday, March 19th at 10:00 A.M., and the funeral mass will be at 12:00 P.M. at St. Jerome Church in Columbus. Burial will take place at St. Jerome's Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
