DOYLESTOWN—Mary J. Sturdevant age 56, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg. She was born on September 10, 1957 in Columbus to Doris and Myrtle (Spurgen) Raley. Mary was a 1976 graduate of the Columbus High School. She was married to Dale Sturdevant on October 18, 1996 in Portage. Mary was employed by the State of Wisconsin for over 30 years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Columbus. Survivors include her husband, Dale of Doylestown; one son, Ross (Heather) Westra of Windsor; one daughter, Jessica (Matthew) Saunders of Madison; three grandchildren, Mikey, Darwin and Mileva Saunders; a sister, Wanda (John) Callies of Sun Prairie; four brothers, Wayne (Sandy) Raley of Madison, Referd (Sandy) Raley of Columbus, Jerry (Deanne) Raley of Phoenix AZ, Robert Raley of Columbus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Raley; a nephew, Dustin Raley. A memorial service was held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 120 Faith Drive, Columbus. Sandra A. Schieble officiated.
