Michael J. "Mike" Drolshagen, age 70, died at home in Columbus on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Mike was born on July 26, 1955 to Orville and Marie (Ballweg) Drolshagen in Columbus, WI.

Mike graduated from Columbus High School in 1973 where he excelled at baseball. Mike continued to play softball and baseball after high school, resulting in numerous lifelong friendships and stories. Mike shared his passion for softball and baseball with his sons and took pride in playing with them. After high school Mike worked at Enerpac for 49 years, and most recently Cabela's, building strong relationships with his coworkers.  Mike was a dedicated dad who loved coaching his sons in basketball, baseball, softball, deer hunting, Nascar, and watching football with his sons. In his free time Mike enjoyed vacationing in Florida with his family and woodworking.

Mike is survived by his sons Caleb Drolshagen of Madison, Colin (Heidi) Drolshagen of Frederick, Colorado, Curtis (Susie) Drolshagen of Windsor; grandchildren; Caleb Jr., Kimber, Kyland, Kaylee, and Layla; sister Pat (Russ) Hoff of Columbus; sister-in-law Dodi Drolshagen; niece Tina (Leroy), and nephew Bryan (Heather).

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dan.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 7 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus with visitation from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.. A lunch will follow.
