FALL RIVER—Michael S. "Mike Dyk" Dykstra age 51, died as the result of an automobile accident on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Dane Co. He was born on October 13, 1962 in Columbus to Eugene and Sandra (Soldner) Dykstra. Mike was currently employed at CJ's in Fall River and was the caregiver for his parents. He was previously employed at Pro-Tech in Columbus. Mike tuned–in everyday to the WBEV Morning and Barn Shows. He enjoyed fishing whenever he could and was a former bait shop owner. Mike was a Tony Stewart NASCAR and Packer fan. He liked cooking and canning and loved attending his son's football games. Mike had a big heart who would give you the shirt off his back and was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and great uncle. Survivors include his son, Drew of Fall River; parents, Eugene and Sandra Dykstra of Fall River; four sisters, Debra (Guy) Robbins of Fall River, Dianna (Robert Ebert) Dykstra of Fall River, Patricia (Michael) Heldstab of Rice Lake, LeAnn Errthum of Fall River; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother-in-law, Brian Errthum. Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M., on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the COLUMBUS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Columbus. Pastor Jim Cotter officiated. Interment was in the Fall River Cemetery, Fall River.
