Mildred "Millie" McIntyre, age 89 passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Columbus Health and Rehab, Columbus. She was born on January 28, 1937 to Frank and Violet Ard in Seattle, Washington.

Our mother was a spitfire! She was definitely one of a kind. She was a loving mother. Family was all she wanted. We had good holidays and a good upbringing. Mom loved to camp. We spent a lot of summers at Silver Springs Campgrounds. She loved boating, fishing, and just family time.

And when she was in the kitchen, she did a lot of canning and made the best green beans around. Not to top the best lemon meringue pie. She moved to New York and then to New Jersey where she met our Dad and so began our family.

She is survived by her son Lane McIntyre of Beaver Dam; her four daughters Rhonda Erickson of Beaver Dam, Wendy Duren of Baraboo, Cheryl McIntyre of Fall River, Rebecca McIntyre of Kiel; son-in-law David Lueth of Fall River. Thirteen grandchildren Christopher McIntyre, Aron Erickson, Heather Erickson, Cody Erickson, Nicole (Aaron) Blacker, Tiffany Smith, Kyle Rohrbeck, Tahnee Peters, Connor Duren, Corey Duren, April Lueth, Hannah Krueger and Halle Krueger. Several great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded by her parents; husband Mac; daughter Debbie; sister Patricia Huggett; brother Frank Ard Jr.

A gathering to honor Mac and Millie's legacy will be held at the Columbus Country Club August 29th 12:00 to 4:00 PM with Military honors for Mac to be conducted at noon. To those that would like to golf on this day please reach out to the country club for a tee time at 920-623-5880. Please come in your favorite sports apparel.
