Milton W. "Milt" Kluetzman age 95, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 16, 1921 in the Town of Portland to William and Elsie (Weihert) Kluetzman. Milt was married to Patricia Emerson on March 12, 1948 in Argonne. He was a long-time area farmer and also drove school bus for the Columbus School District for 33 years. He was an active member of the Columbus United Methodist Church. Milt enjoyed hunting, square dancing, fishing in Canada with his family, storytelling with his grandchildren and repurposing just about everything. He was a prolific woodworker who made dozens of bird houses and picture frames and many other projects including toy boxes and paper towel holders for all the grandchildren. Milt had a lifelong love of flying and was a pilot with his own plane. He and his wife enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Hawaii and Australia, to name but a few. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Pat of Columbus; six children, Karen (Bill) Hamilton and Bill (fiancee' Ginger Malone) of Columbus, Robert (Judy) of Watertown, Michael of Madison, Kris Kluetzman and Kerri (Scott McDonnell) Kluetzman of Albany NY; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; other relatives and friends. Also survived by AFS daughter Alison McAuliff (Geoff) Webb of McKay, Australia. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lawrence and LaVerne. A memorial service was held at 6:00 P. M., with visitation beginning at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the COLUMBUS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Columbus. Rev. Kimberly Brumm officiated. Memorials may be made to the Columbus United Methodist Church or the charity of one's choice.
