Mitzi J. Perry, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Rainbow Hospice Center, Johnson Creek. She was born on November 4, 1931, in Bryan, Ohio to Henry and Lavada (Houk) Wolfe.

On January 14, 1954, Mitzi married the love of her life, Neal Perry, in Paxton, Il. Together they shared nearly 66 wonderful years of marriage before Neal's passing on November 9, 2019. Their marriage was filled with a deep appreciation for family and the simple joys of life.

Mitzi was a kind and creative soul who found happiness in sewing, quilting, cross-stitch, crocheting, and working on puzzles. She had a gift for making things beautiful with her hands and took pride in sharing her talents with those she loved.

Mitzi's memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved. She inspired the lives of her family and friends through her kindness, creativity, and enduring love.

Mitzi will be deeply missed by her sister, Beverly Hofbauer; her many loving nieces and nephews; treasured neighbors; dear friends; and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Neal (Red); her brothers, John, Daryl, Ronald, and Roger; and her sisters, Irene Upton and Diana Thomas.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Rainbow Community Care and Hospice for the compassionate care and support shown to Mitzi and her loved ones.

Inurnment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Waterloo.
