DOYLESTOWN—Myrtle M. Mallon age 98, died on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Golden LivingCenter Continental Manor, Randolph. She was born on January 28, 1916, the youngest of three children born to Ernest and Mary (Lee) Mathews of the Town of Fountain Prairie. Myrtle was married to Leo J. Mallon on September 9, 1947 in Dubuque, IA. She was a LPN at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Hospitals for 20 years, retiring to Doylestown in 1974. Myrtle was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Doylestown. Survivors include two sons, Terry (Marian) Roundy of Zapata, TX and Bill Mallon of Doylestown; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; a son, Roger Roundy; a brother, Pete Mathews; a sister, Mable Yonkee. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M., on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, Doylestown. Rev. Steve Kortendick officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.
