Nick Joseph Link age 48, died unexpectedly at home following a brief illness on Monday, November 18, 2013. He was born on October 19, 1965 in Columbus to Allen and Delores (Trapp) Link. Nick was married to Brenda Kaye Hollis on May 21, 1988 at St. Jerome Church in Columbus, celebrating 25 years of marriage this year. Nick was a devoted father and loving husband. He had a passion for farming and the farm life working as a partner for ABN Link Farms LLP in the town of Elba. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Brenda of Columbus; two sons, Kyle and Zachary both of Columbus; his father and mother, Allen and Deloris Link of Columbus; one brother, Bruce and one sister, Tina Link both of Columbus; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 3:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at ST. JEROME CATHOLIC CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Steve Kortendick officiated. Interment was in St. Jerome Cemetery, Columbus.
