Pamela Schwaner, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Fall River on Friday, July 18, 2025, with her beloved husband by her side. Born on May 10, 1958, in Madison, WI, to Ronald and Ruth (Miller) Freitag, Pamela was a lifelong resident of Madison, Columbus, and Fall River.

Pamela dedicated her career to caring for others, from childcare to assisting seniors, and also enjoyed baking at Piggly Wiggly and Kwik Trip. She was known for her love of camping, family time, playing cards, and sharing good food and wine with friends. Her home was filled with her cherished collection of frog knick-knacks.

Pamela's spirit remained strong throughout her long battle with health issues over the past three years. She always dreamed of living on a dream boat, a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for life.

Pamela is survived by her husband Dennis Schwaner of Fall River; son Alan (fiancé Stephanie Harden) Schwaner of Portage; sister Angela (James) Feltes of Viroqua; brother Rick (Colleen) Freitag of Madison; other relatives and friends.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on August 8, 2025 at Savanna Oaks, Fall River.
