Rae Marie Dougan, age 69, died on Monday, January 13, 2025 at UW Hospital, Madison. Rae Marie was born on January 16, 1955 to Robert and Joan (Jurgerson) Link in Columbus. She was married to William Dougan on October 30, 1976 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus.

Rae Marie worked for Anchor Bank, many years at Bank Mutual as Branch Manager where her branch won Bank Mutual Branch of the Year multiple times. She also spent time as a farm wife.  In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, puzzles, planning trips, cooking, baking, arts, crafts and motorcycle rides. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren Bella and Nora or attending church. She was very generous, outspoken, helpful, caring and loving. She had many skills, but the way she could teach, plan and give financial advice was noteworthy. She was a part of the Optimist Club, Rotary Club and 4-H where she was a leader of Leathercraft.

Rae Marie is survived by her husband Bill Dougan of Columbus; children Andrew (Janae Goodrich) Dougan of Beaver Dam, Nicole (Joshua) Stiers of Columbus; granddaughters Bella Rae Stiers, Nora Stiers; brothers Robert (Mary) Link of Columbus, Rex (Marian) Link of Cottage Grove; sisters Vicki (Scott) Erickson of Slinger, Cindy (Don Budwitis) Link of Rio; other relatives and friends.

Rae Marie was preceded in death by her parents; sister Jody Hanson.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus, with visitation beginning at 12:00 P.M. A visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Jensen Funeral & Cremation. Rev. Joji will officiate.
