WATERTOWN—Ricky A. "Beener" Strohbeen age 61, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Meriter Hospital, Madison. He was born on September 28, 1961 in Amery, Wisconsin to Calvin and Sharon (Petroselli) Strohbeen. Beener worked for the union as a pipe layer for 40 years. He loved listening to music while cruising the country. He loved fishing and being outdoors, mowing the lawn, chopping wood and having fires. He loved watching the Packers, Bucks and the Brewers. He enjoyed watching his grandson play sports and spending time with family and friends. He loved cooking and gardening and he sure loved his pickles.

Beener is survived by his children Charity (Shawn Firkus) Strohbeen of Columbus, Quinn Strohbeen (friend Toni) of Watertown, Brodee Strohbeen of Kewaskum; grandsons Grayson and Gavin Firkus, Isaiah Landphier and Payton Strohbeen; his sisters Kim Olson of Mayville, Jamie (Jeff) Vick of Columbus, Brenda Strohbeen of Milwaukee, Heidi (Tarek) Petroselli of Tomah, BilliJo (Randy Giesecke) Petroselli of Tomah; long-time partner and mother of his children Sharon (Gary) Wilson of Watertown; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Beener is preceded in death by his parents; brother Curtis Strohbeen; step mother Mary Strohbeen.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at SAVANNA OAKS in Fall River
