Robert Edward Walker age 100, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at SSM-Health, Madison. He was born June 2, 1924 in the Town of Sun Prairie, the son of Edward and Alta (Pirkl) Walker. Robert was married to Romona Harland on August 12, 1950 in Marshall and together raised two sons. Bob was a life-time farmer in the Townships of Medina and Sun Prairie. He enjoyed cultivating the land, sowing the seeds, harvesting crops and maintaining his machinery. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church (Formerly Saint Mary) in Marshall where he served on the church council. He and Romona enjoyed traveling with many road and plane trips.

Survivors include his two sons Harland (Delight Detert) Walker of Cameron and Charles (Sally Ramsden) Walker of Eagle River; five grandchildren Rebecca (Joshua) Gotham, Megan (Macord) Johnson, Travis (Shannon) Walker, Miranda Walker and Brandon Walker; step-grandchildren Chad (Brianna) Yanke and Jessica (Kasey) Feiner; five great-grandchildren Mia, Maverick and Molly Johnson, Lance and Larrisa Walker; five step great-grandchildren Jared, Lexi, Cooper, Kellen and Reece; a brother Kenneth (fiancée Geri) Walker; sister-in-law Cynthia (Lyle) Finke; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Romona in 2020, sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Lyle "Bud" Voelker.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M., on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Epiphany of the Lord Parish in Marshall.
