OREGON—Ronald R. "Rinky" Woodward age 69 died on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Meriter Hospital, Madison.  He was born on August 9, 1951 in Columbus to Russell and Delia (Thiessen) Woodward. Rinky was employed at Fox Haase Manufacturing in Deforest for 25 years before his retirement. He was well known to make the rounds, enjoyed playing pool at many area taverns where he loved socializing with everyone he met and was often the life of the party. Rinky will be remembered as a family orientated, fun-loving brother and uncle who never complained or worried about himself. Survivors include his two sisters Audrey (Phil) Batz and Marcella Woodward (Don Steffenhagen); five brothers Robert (Patti) Woodward, Don (Sharon) Woodward, Russell J. (Jeanette) Woodward, William (Nancy) Woodward, Harlan (Betsy) Woodward; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Geraldine Walker and Marilyn Kvale; two nephews Robert Walker and David Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Sandra Schieble will officiate.
