Rudy "Hunter" Andaverde, age 60, died at home in Columbus on Saturday, September 5, 2026. He was born on November 22, 1965 to Rosario (Chavez) Andaverde in Bexar County, TX.

Rudy embraced his heritage. He was a nature lover who enjoyed the outdoors. He was creative and liked crafting personalized gifts. Rudy was a private person but was always willing to help out others.

Rudy is survived by his girlfriend Lori Caldwell; five children Shannon, Antonia, Taylor, Danny, Keithan; five brothers Jose Andaverde, Art Chavez, Michael Andaverde, Jaime Andaverde, Frank Andaverde; two sisters Nikole Krasowski, Diana Jones; five step siblings Rick, Bonnie, Joe, Dave, Chris; other relatives and friends.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents.
