Obituary

Sandra Ann Ebert (Klatt) went home to be with our Lord on Monday, October 30, 2023 at her home in Stoughton at the age of 80.

Sandi was born to Ellery and Arvilla (Leannah) Klatt on August 28, 1943 in Waukesha, WI.   For a period of time she was raised by her relatives Emil and Anne Falk in Montello, WI. Sandi graduated from Montello High School in 1962 and went on to graduate from UW-Whitewater with a degree in Elementary Education.  She also obtained a degree from the Cosmetology School of Milwaukee.

Sandi met her husband James Ebert in 1960, and they were married in 1962 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Montello.  They moved to Columbus in 1962 where they raised their three sons; Nathan, Matthew, and Erik.

Sandi was full of energy and often compared to the Energizer Bunny.  While lovingly raising three boys, Sandi opened and ran a successful business for many years in Columbus - The Top Shop.  That wasn't Sandi's only passion.  She adored all of the K-9s that she rescued throughout the years. She was especially proud of her contribution in starting the dog park in Columbus with her friend Dr. David Gerber.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and throughout Sandi's entire life she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those that surrounded her.

Sandi joins her husband, brother, parents and other dear family and friends in heaven.

She is survived by her 3 sons, their wives, a God-daughter, 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a sister, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law.

Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2023 from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. at Jensen Funeral Home in Columbus, with service to follow. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. A celebration of life gathering and luncheon will be held at Kestrel Ridge after interment.

Memorials will be directed to either St. Judes, Salvation Army, or various pet shelters. Please share your online condolences with Sandi's family at jensenfuneralandcremation.com
