Sandra J. "Sandy" Neesam age 82, died peacefully on Friday, June 5,2026 at the home of her cousin in Doylestown. She was born on March 15, 1944 in Baraboo to Earl and Luella (Elwood) Neesam.

Due to Sandy's father serving in the military, the family moved multiple times throughout her childhood years. She particularly enjoyed the years living in Alaska. Sandy enlisted in the United States Army (WAC) in 1962 and served as medical specialist until her discharge in 1965.

She worked in retail most of adult life. She worked at Piggly Wiggly in Savannah, Ga until she retired. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with her friend "Miss D".  Coming to Wisconsin and visiting her Uncle Russell and Aunt Janice in Columbus Wisconsin. Enjoy see all of her relatives; aunts, uncles and cousins.

She preceded in death by her parents and her brother Duane Neesam.

Sandy is survived by her cousins which she felt like siblings; Janell (Terry) Witte of Waukesha, Janine Neesam of Doylestown, Jillanne (Tom) Ladwig of Fall River and Tyler Neesam of Columbus.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the Fountain Prairie Cemetery, Town of Fountain Prairie. Rev. Sandra Schieble will officiate. Full military honors will be conducted by active U.S. Army personnel and members of John C. Brossard VFW Post 2219.
