Sharon L. Herzberg age 48, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 4, 2013 at her home. She was born on May 20, 1964 in Columbus, to Roger and Joan (Krenz) Herzberg. She was a 1982 graduate of the Columbus High School. Sharon was employed at the Epilepsy Foundation of South Central Wisconsin in Madison. Sharon enjoyed the outdoors whether it be taking in nature, biking, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. She loved all animals, especially her cats. Sharon was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Columbus. Survivors include her mother, Joan Herzberg of Columbus; one sister, Debra (Barry) Constantine of Carlsbad CA; one brother, Dan of Columbus; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Bill DeNure of Wonewoc, Gene and Jackie Herzberg and Phyllis Herzberg all of Columbus, Bob Herzberg of Tomahawk; a niece, Andrea Constantine of Carlsbad; other cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger in 2006; an aunt and uncle, Ralph and Beatrice Herzberg; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Erna Herzberg and maternal grandparents, Clarence and Arline Krenz. Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at ZION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Daniel Sims officiated. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. Visitation was from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Epilepsy Foundation of South Central Wisconsin or Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.
