FALL RIVER--Susan O. Bergmann, age 72, of Fall River passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. Susan was born to Edgar and Opal (Fry) Green on October 18,1948 in DeForest.

Susie enjoyed helping her "honey" at his auto body shop, taking weekend jaunts together on the snowmobile trails, kicking up her heels on the dance floor. She loved music so much that she taught herself to play the organ and could be heard blocks away as she practiced for hours to any old time country artist. Susie also loved to knit, crochet and quilt. But, above all of this, she loved the time she spent being a "Nana" to their grandchildren and great grandchildren over the years. She loved to plan mini vacations with Elmer and extended family, whether it was just up north or a trip out west she cherished those memories, so thank you to Jim, Julie and Chris for being part of her adventures.
Susan is survived by her five siblings Mary (Darwin) Tysver of Chili, WI, LaRetta Massey of Windsor, Patricia (Mark) Jacob of Columbus, Ed (Sandra) of Appleton, Shirley (Terry) Jahn of Cambria; four special nieces and nephews that shared their lives with her as siblings;Teresa (Randy) Vick, Arthur Green, Jr, Lucille (Mike) Vick and Michael (Amanda) Green; stepchildren Theresa (Kreg) Reimer of Oconomowoc and William (Mary) of Watertown; 11 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Always holding a very special connection with Julie and Evan for always including her in their lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer in 2013, two brothers Donald and Arthur, Sr., one sister-in-law Reta Green, one brother-in-law Gary Massey, step-son Ed and step-daughter Kathy.
