BEAVER DAM--Thomas C. "Boar Hog" Borde age 57, died on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. He was born on October 18, 1960 in Edgerton to Russell and Bertha (Murwin) Borde Sr. He worked for years as a union iron worker and concrete mason. Tom loved antique hunting and treasure finding. He knew all the best asparagus patches around and loved to ride his Harley. Tom had extraordinary mechanical talent, enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time entertaining his grandsons. Survivors include his daughter Lacie Borde of Gibson City, IL; two grandsons Jacob and Caleb; two brothers Don Borde and Jim Borde, both of Rio; an uncle, Jon; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Ronald and Russell Jr. He had an unflinching will in his final moments. He fought hard, loved living and is free from pain. The Boar Hog is how he will be remembered. The first annual Harley Run will be held a year from now in his honor. Details to follow.
