Thomas G. Wellnitz, age 82, died at home on Monday, September 29, 2025 in Beaver Dam. He was born on December 4, 1942 to Gerhard and Berdella (Rauschenberger) Wellnitz in Watertown, WI.

Thomas Wellnitz worked at the Fall River School for many years and retired in a maintenance position. Thomas had owned a bar in Fall River with wife Shirley and did traveling. Thomas loved his kids, grandkids and great grandchildren dearly. Tom had an unforgettable personality. Never a dull moment.

Thomas is survived by his five children Doris Williams, Loren Wellnitz, Shane Wellnitz, John (Lori) Wellnitz,  Charity Johnson; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister Sally; other relatives and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; wife Shirley in 2021; son William; brothers Loren Wellnitz and Chuck Wellnitz.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 11, 2025 with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Jensen Funeral & Cremation LLC, Columbus. Inurnment will be at Fall River Cemetery. Rev. Ray Bezanson will officiate.
